The Sights and Sounds of Fall

“Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven’t planted” (David Bly).  This is one of my favorite quotes and definitely hits home for me every fall as the sights and sounds of the season are among us. Growing up on a family farm made fall a great season – I have many memories of riding in the combine, supper in the field, and mom’s apple pie! It’s that time of year where we are reminded that we reap what we sow, whether in agriculture of not – success comes from hard work and dedication! Are you where you want to be in 2018? What are you dedicated to?

Football, pumpkin patches (pumpkin everything), apple orchards, corn mazes, bonfires with friends, and harvest…whichever are your favorites, I hope you enjoy all you can before the season passes by.
